Slow And Steady Wins The Race

Cute Model, right?
In November 2009 I started crocheting a shawl for my mother to wear to synagogue (because it is FREEZING in there. ALWAYS). I managed to finish it in time for her birthday in the beginning of September 2010. Hey, at least it got finished. It took a little over 10 skeins of Vanna's Glamour and it is WARM. Really, it's like wearing a blanket. Yes, I know I used acrylic, but I wanted something shiny that didnt cost me $25 a skein. All in all, I'm pretty proud of it. The model for these pictures is my Middle Sister. She's also wearing another hat I made from some Microspun. The hat is for me. :)

It's so big!
